Apicola Perez: In Apicola Perez we are a family business where we are committed to offer our customers the highest quality product. We are the fourth generation of beekeepers, the knowledge of tradition and innovation are the key to the development of our high quality products. Training and family character are the pillars of our company. Every year we make international visits to apiaries and fairs all over the world to study the latest beekeeping techniques and apply them to our farm. At present we manage twelve hundred hives and five hundred nuclei, we are mainly dedicated to the production of honey, pollen, propolis and beekeeping products. The honey we bottle is completely raw, we do not heat the honey at any time, which means that it keeps all its properties intact. The hive management system is the vertical hive system, i.e. the bees have a part of the hive dedicated to the hive reserves, which guarantee the subsistence of the hive and the feeding of the bees in the event of adverse weather conditions. With this system, the subsistence of the colonies is guaranteed, as well as allowing us to harvest high quality monofloral honeys, as these honeys are only collected from the surplus part of the hive.
