We are a family business dedicated to beekeeping for more than 20 years. Under the brand name Melius, we produce and package our own honey and other products from the beehive such as pollen, propolis tincture, lip balm and pure beeswax candles. Our apiaries are located in the Biosphere Reserve of the Omaña and Luna Valleys, a privileged environment for our activity. Our bees produce forest honey from oak and heather honeydew, which gives it a dark amber colour and a unique flavour. Last year 2020, our honey was awarded the First National Prize for Dark Honeys by the Spanish Beekeepers Association, and has also been highlighted in several local competitions and national tastings over the years. All this makes us feel proud and encourages us to continue with enthusiasm and excitement in this wonderful profession. We have health registration, which guarantees the traceability and quality of our products.
