I am part of 3Bee's 'Oasis of Biodiversity' project. You can adopt one of my hives. This project allows me to regenerate biodiversity by caring for bees using innovative technologies developed by 3Bee. Here you can choose to adopt your hive from a distance and I will take care of it using the best techniques.

My history

Apicoltura San Bernardo was born in 2020, from Alessio's passion and curiosity for this wonderful world. After five years practising hobby beekeeping, he decided to open the business. The priority of my business is the well-being of the bees and the quality of my honey. That is why I practise short-distance nomadism, always taking them on blooms from the end of March to October. The season starts at the end of March, when the hives are in the hilly area for the production of Cherry and Acacia honey, then they are moved to the mountains for the production of very rare Rhododendron and Flora Alpina honey in the Anzasca Valley and the Formazza Valley, in Alto Vergante for Chestnut honey, in the Antigirio Valley for the production of Lime tree honey and then moved in late summer to the banks of the Cervo River for winter stocks of Reynoutria Japonica and to the Baragge Reserve for Heather, where in some rare years a monofloral honey of both can also be produced.

What do you adopt

Thanks to 3Bee technology, you can remotely adopt your chosen hives and monitor them 24 hours a day. By tracking the bees' main biological parameters - such as weight, temperature, humidity and sound intensity - you can follow their progress, growth and health status directly from your smartphone. The beekeeper will take care of your bees.

You will also receive your digital certificate via email. If the adoption is a gift, you can print it out and give it directly to the recipient.

What do you receive

If you choose to adopt hives and receive their honey, once your bees produce it, you will receive their honey directly to your home. All you have to do is select the favorite flowering, the amount of honey you want to receive, and wait for your bees to produce it.

We respect the bees' and beekeeper's production time, and you can check in your profile when the honey is scheduled to be delivered.

Meanwhile, from the app you can follow the work done by your bees.

What do you adopt

Together with the 3Bee agronomists we analyzed the best set of Plants to regenerate the soil, produce nectar and restore biodiversity to the area. Selected dozens of Italian Growers among Beekeepers and Farmers, provided them with the plants free of charge. We pay them every year for every plant they care for and grow.

Adopt a plant that helps sustainable beekeeping and farming communities, produce nectar for bees, absorb Co2 and offset your emissions.
