Apicoltura TeraMama di Volpato Alberto
Veneto, ITI am part of 3Bee's 'Oasis of Biodiversity' project. You can adopt one of my hives. This project allows me to regenerate biodiversity by caring for bees using innovative technologies developed by 3Bee. Here you can choose to adopt your hive from a distance and I will take care of it using the best techniques.
In 2012, Badon Mara, a family-run farm, became part of L 'APICOLTURA TERAMAMA. TeraMama derives from Pachamama, which means Mother Earth. Pachamama represented the patron goddess of the earth, agriculture and fertility. We have therefore taken this name and dropped it into our dialectical reality: TeraMama= Terra Madre but in Venetian dialect. We decided to use this name not only as a good omen, but also because we want our name to make the consumer understand our philosophy and what is behind the jar of honey he buys: Respect, Love, Ethics, Commitment, Simplicity. We are committed to enhancing the value of our territory: we move our hives from the sea to the mountains and we are constantly looking for the best production sites both for the well-being of our beloved bees and to offer only the best of our land!!! We practice nomadic beekeeping, moving our bees from the province of Venice, Padua, Vicenza and as far as the province of Ferrara. In Venice we produce the millefiori and our honey of great pride: the rare BARENA honey! In the province of Padua we produce acacia in the Euganean Hills and lime. In the province of Vincenza we produce mountain lime and chestnut, and in the province of Ferrara alfalfa!
Thanks to 3Bee technology, you can remotely adopt your chosen hives and monitor them 24 hours a day. By tracking the bees' main biological parameters - such as weight, temperature, humidity and sound intensity - you can follow their progress, growth and health status directly from your smartphone. The beekeeper will take care of your bees.
You will also receive your digital certificate via email. If the adoption is a gift, you can print it out and give it directly to the recipient.
If you choose to adopt hives and receive their honey, once your bees produce it, you will receive their honey directly to your home. All you have to do is select the favorite flowering, the amount of honey you want to receive, and wait for your bees to produce it.
We respect the bees' and beekeeper's production time, and you can check in your profile when the honey is scheduled to be delivered.
Meanwhile, from the app you can follow the work done by your bees.
