Lombardia, ITI am part of 3Bee's 'Oasis of Biodiversity' project. You can adopt one of my hives. This project allows me to regenerate biodiversity by caring for bees using innovative technologies developed by 3Bee. Here you can choose to adopt your hive from a distance and I will take care of it using the best techniques.
El Veler is a young farm that, since 2015, has been involved in beekeeping, with the landscape of upper Lake Como and its mountains as a backdrop. It is not for nothing that the name of our hives linked to the "adopt a hive" project recalls some of the peaks that overlook the woods where our bees forage. The name chosen for the activity also recalls the strong link we have with the "laghée" area, a "de muntagn e acqua dulza" environment, characteristic and in some ways harsh, which can however give great satisfaction: "El Veler" is a locality in Pianello del Lario where the first hive was placed, at about 400 m above sea level. Our prerogative is to let the aromas and scents of our honeys tell the story of the adventures and landscapes that gave birth to them: linden, chestnut, millefiori, acacia and sometimes honeydew honey to remind us that El Veler is not just bees, but also woods and flowering meadows. Passion, combined with the desire to see our small business grow, has led us to embark on a new and exciting project aimed at selecting and breeding queen bees of the Ligustica breed. We like to think that ours is not only a job of hard work and sacrifices, but that it also has a romantic side, as only the "mestée de una volta" know how to do: a passion handed down orally and with direct experience, made of waiting and silences, attempts, failures and successes....
