The farm "La Collina sul Mare" is located in Vasto (province of Chieti, Italy) on the gentle hill of Montevecchio overlooking the sea. Our company was born from the great love for nature and animals and the deep respect for our territory. Our intention is precisely to make our territory known through honey because "every drop of honey contains all the flavours, fragrances and characteristics of the place where it has been made". Since I was a child, Valerio, the owner of the company, has grown up with the principle of protecting as much as possible all that nature has left us, and it is in the bees that my wife and I have focused our attention, above all, in their defence in our territory, because it is on their pollination work that almost all of the cultivated and spontaneous agricultural production depends, and furthermore these fascinating little insects reciprocate with their thousands of different delicacies. Our honey is processed cold, with the sole help of a centrifuge, in this way it maintains its organoleptic and nutritional qualities, which would be lost with pasteurisation. We also try to produce it respecting the natural times and methods of the bees, avoiding the use of chemicals and minimising the stress on our precious bees. Honey is a living product and our aim is to offer a 100% healthy and natural product in order to ensure that our customers receive a honey that suits each and every one of them.
