Fattoria Martelli
Friuli Venezia Giulia, ITI am part of 3Bee's 'Oasis of Biodiversity' project. You can adopt one of my hives. This project allows me to regenerate biodiversity by caring for bees using innovative technologies developed by 3Bee. Here you can choose to adopt your hive from a distance and I will take care of it using the best techniques.
Fattoria Martelli was born in 2019, out of my desire to leave the cold world of engineering and move into a more peaceful and welcoming rural world. The starting point for my new activity was the purchase of some land in the mountain community of Bordano. Here I have planted one hectare of olive trees, about three hundred, more than two hundred lavender plants and hundreds of other nectariferous plants, including heather, caryopteris, lonicera and perovskia, and about thirty cherry trees. In 2022, I also plan to create a small fruit plantation (blueberry, raspberry and blackberry) of about 2000 square metres and also to start raising hens and quails. Of course, the main activity of the farm remains beekeeping. At the moment, I look after around 100 bee families in several locations around Bordano. I chose this area because it is ideal for organic farming, as it has no other conventional agricultural activities and is therefore naturally uncontaminated. On my farm I not only produce honey, but also breed my own queen bees and produce pollen, royal jelly and propolis.
