Company and apiary on the High Lands of Lake Maggiore in the municipality of Aurano immersed in chestnut and linden woods at the gates of the Valgrande National Park. In the early 2000s, supported by my father-in-law's fifty years of experience, I began my work as a hobbyist beekeeper, a world I didn't know, but that immediately intrigued and fascinated me, and so in parallel to my professional activity as a surveyor, I started the professional beekeeping business. Every year, as my experience increased, I also increased the families and improved the company with new tools and technologies until I got to know 3bee in 2019, which with the hitech monitoring system helped me to manage the families more precisely with a new understanding of the internal life of the hive but also a better understanding of the influence of climatic conditions on nectar imports and the behavior of families within the hive. The management is mainly stationary, although in spring nomadism becomes essential to bring the colonies especially to a lower altitude below 700 meters to take advantage of the blooms of meadows and fruit trees.
