Flora: Innovation in Collaboration with ESA

Addressing low biodiversity areas is a growing challenge that requires innovative solutions and precise data for monitoring and improvement.

3Bee, in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), has developed Flora, a system based on a neural network that uses Sentinel-II satellite data. With Flora, we can assess floral diversity and biodiversity potential in an area reachable through planting projects in great detail.

Our ultimate goal is to map the entire European territory, identifying low biodiversity areas for regeneration towards a more sustainable future.

The Growers 3Bee community consists of beekeepers and farmers committed to caring for soils, pollinators, and plants through sustainable farming practices and the adoption of bees, trees, and pollinators. Together, they work to promote biodiversity conservation and improve the sustainability of agriculture.

'Adopt a 3Bee Tree' is an initiative that allows you to actively contribute to environmental regeneration. When you adopt a tree through our program, you are funding the planting of a nectar-bearing tree in Italy. These special trees not only contribute to air purification and CO2 reduction but also enrich the local biodiversity and provide vital nectar for pollinating insects.
